Education Excellence Conclave 2026 Opens Individual Applications for Academic Excellence Recognition

Students securing 85% or above in Class X or XII Board Examinations 2026 can now apply directly for recognition; participation is completely free.

CHINSURAH, HOOGHLY | 12 AUGUST 2026

The Education Excellence Conclave 2026 has opened Individual Student Applications for Academic Excellence Recognition, creating a direct opportunity for deserving Class X and Class XII students to be considered for felicitation at the upcoming Conclave.

Students who have passed the Class X or Class XII Board Examination in 2026 and secured 85% or above may now apply directly, even where their school has not submitted an institutional nomination.

The initiative expands the Conclave’s recognition programme beyond the participating-school nomination process and seeks to ensure that deserving academic achievers have an opportunity to present their achievements for consideration.

The Conclave will be held on 22 August 2026 at Rabindra Bhawan, Chinsurah, Hooghly, West Bengal, beginning at 10:00 AM.

An Achievement Should Not Go Unrecognised

Every examination result tells a story that a marksheet alone cannot fully capture.

Behind an outstanding result may be months of disciplined preparation, early mornings, late-night revision, the guidance of teachers, encouragement from parents, moments of uncertainty and the determination to continue.

Education Excellence Conclave 2026 has been conceived around a simple idea:

Achievement deserves recognition, and recognition can become inspiration.

The Conclave therefore seeks not merely to celebrate marks, but to recognise the commitment, discipline and perseverance that make meaningful achievement possible.

Its broader theme — “Beyond Marks: Celebrating Excellence, Leadership & Character” — reflects the belief that education must ultimately contribute to the development of capable, responsible and confident young people.

Why Have Individual Applications Been Opened?

The initial outreach for Education Excellence Conclave 2026 has primarily involved schools and institutional nominations.

However, not every deserving student may necessarily be reached through that route.

A school may not be participating in the Conclave. Another may not have completed its nomination process. In some cases, an eligible student or parent may learn about the initiative independently.

The organisers therefore decided to create an additional route:

Individual Application for Academic Excellence Recognition

Under this route, an eligible student or parent can submit an application directly for consideration by the Organising Committee.

This does not replace the school nomination process. Both routes will operate alongside each other.

Most importantly, a student applying individually will not receive a lower category of recognition merely because the application did not originate from the school.

Who Can Apply?

Individual applications are presently invited from students who:

  • Passed the Class X or Class XII Board Examination in 2026;
  • Secured 85% or above in aggregate/overall result according to the applicable Board’s assessment rules;
  • Appeared through CBSE, CISCE/ICSE/ISC, recognised State Boards or another recognised Indian school education board; and
  • Can provide an official marksheet or result document for verification.

Students will continue to be identified with their respective schools even when applying independently.

An individual application, however, should not be interpreted as an official nomination or endorsement by the student’s school.

Recognition for Selected Students

Students whose applications are verified, selected and officially confirmed will be invited to participate in the felicitation ceremony at Education Excellence Conclave 2026.

The recognition will include:

Certificate of Academic Excellence
Education Excellence Medal
Excellence Lapel Pin
Ceremonial Stage Felicitation

The objective is to create a memorable moment of recognition for young achievers while allowing their accomplishments to inspire other students.

Completely Free — No Application or Participation Fee

There is no application fee, registration fee or participation fee for eligible students applying under the Individual Student Application route.

Recognition is not being offered for purchase.

The student’s academic credentials must first satisfy the prescribed eligibility requirements and subsequently undergo the Conclave’s review and confirmation process.

Eligibility Does Not Guarantee Selection

The organisers have also emphasised an important distinction between eligibility to apply and selection for recognition.

Securing 85% or above makes a student eligible to submit an application. It does not automatically guarantee selection, participation or felicitation.

Every application will be subject to scrutiny, verification and official confirmation by the Education Excellence Conclave 2026 Organising Committee.

Only applicants who receive official confirmation from the Organising Committee will be treated as confirmed participants for felicitation.

The Organising Committee reserves the right to accept or reject an application at its discretion without being required to assign or communicate a reason, and its decision regarding selection and participation shall be final.

This process has been incorporated to preserve the credibility, capacity and institutional standards of the recognition programme.

A Celebration Beyond Marks

Although the newly opened category recognises academic distinction, the larger philosophy of Education Excellence Conclave 2026 goes beyond examination percentages.

Academic excellence matters. But so do leadership, character, responsibility, creativity, confidence and lifelong learning.

A high score represents an important milestone in a student’s educational journey — not its final destination.

Recognition, therefore, should not merely tell a young person:

“You scored well.”

It should also tell them:

“Your discipline mattered. Your effort mattered. Continue striving for excellence.”

That is the larger message the Conclave seeks to carry.

Recognising the Ecosystem Behind Every Student

No student’s educational journey exists in isolation.

Behind a successful learner are often teachers who provided guidance, parents who made sacrifices, schools that created opportunities and communities that encouraged ambition.

Education Excellence Conclave 2026 therefore seeks to celebrate the broader educational ecosystem alongside student achievement.

Participating institutions and educational leaders are also being recognised for contributions across different dimensions of educational excellence.

The Conclave thus brings together students, parents, educators, institutional leaders and other stakeholders in education on a common platform of recognition and dialogue.
